Experience Moondance: The Van Morrison Songbook, performing all the iconic hits including “Gloria,” “Brown Eyed Girl,” “Moondance,” “Into the Mystic,” “Domino,” “Wild Night is Calling” and more. Performed with soulful conviction and joy, vocalist Bruce Coughlan (Tiller’s Folly), winner of the 2024 ISSA Top Male Vocalist award, fronts this six-piece revue. Joined by longtime collaborator Laurence Knight (bass/vocals), and a top-tier ensemble including Adam Rohrlick (guitar/keys), Jerry Cook (sax/flute), Geeta Das (trumpet), and Greg Stuart (drums/vocals) - they bring Van’s Celtic-inspired blend of blues, jazz, folk, and soul to life. This show will have you singing along and shutting your eyes to truly make you think that the legendary Hall of Famer Van Morrison is in the room with you. Bruce Coughlan channels “Van the Man,” a mystic Celtic soul singer whose career spans over five decades, from his early days with Them in the ‘60s to his groundbreaking ‘70s albums like Moondance, and Van Morrison His Band, and the Street Choir. With classics like “And It Stoned Me,” “Crazy Love,” and “Caravan,” Morrison’s distinctive sound remains a staple of classic rock and blues. This show, fueled by Coughlan’s award-winning interpretive skill and the band’s dynamic energy, promises a night of unforgettable music.
