Welcome to Season 65 with The Okanagan Symphony Orchestra!

For six and half decades, the OSO has enriched the Okanagan Valley with captivating symphonic performances. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable season, one filled with excitement, anticipation and celebration.

Our selected Music Director audition candidates -- Nadège Foofat, James Sommerville, Grant Harville and Julian Pellicano -- and other guest conductors, along with a stellar lineup of Canadian soloists, will grace our stages. Each of our two series will showcase the orchestra and offer a rich musical journey for audiences. The Mainstage Series, our most classical offerings, weave together celestial wonder, soulful connections and virtuosic artistry, while the Celebration Series highlights classical masterpieces, folk traditions and passionate tango rhythms.

Mark your calendars for upcoming performances, including Holst's iconic The Planets and pianist David Fung in October, cellist Rachel Mercer's emotional performance in November, and Handel's timeless oratorio Messiah for the holidays. Saxophonist Allen Harrington takes centre stage in February, and in March, fiddler Daniel Lapp celebrates folk music. Pre-eminent Chopin expert Janina Fialkowska dazzles in April with his Piano Concerto No. 1, and May brings Piazzolla's The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires with violinist Lara St. John.
