Living Things Festival 2025
Living Things International Arts Festival 2025
January 20-31, 2025
WHAT IS LIVING THINGS?
Held annually over 10 days each January, the Living Things International Arts Festival showcases a diverse range of performance genres and styles, with a focus on formal innovation and object-based live arts such as mask performance, puppetry, music, dance, and interactive installations.
Living Things is produced by Inner Fish Performance, a non-profit interdisciplinary performance company based in Kelowna, B.C., founded in 2010. We collaborate with other local non-profit organizations to provide contemporary, professional live art experiences. Since 2017, we have proudly produced the Living Things International Arts Festival.
Artistically directed and curated by Neil Cadger, the festival features international, Canadian, and regional artists, and collaborates in co-presentations with regional festivals and presenters such as the PuSH Festival in Vancouver, the Alternator Centre, and the Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna. Festival venues include the Mary Irwin Theatre, the Kelowna Community Theatre, the Black Box Theatre, and various other locations from diverse disciplines. At Inner Fish and Living Things, we are committed to providing professional opportunities for emerging interdisciplinary artists and engaging with minority communities.
