The Irving K. Barber Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is pleased to bring Environmental, Cultural and Human Rights Advocate Sheila Watt-Cloutier to the Kelowna Community Theatre.

She is the recipient of many awards for her advocacy work including the Aboriginal Achievement Award and is appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada.

Sheila Watt-Cloutier will share her experience and insight on the realities of the Arctic – discussing the challenges Inuit face, while also focusing on solutions.

On October 27, join Sheila Watt-Cloutier’s discussion on the interconnectedness of the environment, economy, foreign policy, health and human rights and how this will impact the future of our planet.
