Ballet companies all over the world perform The Nutcracker during the holiday season, each with a special take on Marius Petipa’s beloved classic. The Canadian School of Ballet returns to the Kelowna Community Theatre for their 33rd year, featuring their dancers and special guest performances from Ballet Kelowna. The Nutcracker story was written by E.T.A. Hoffmann, set to music by Tchaikovsky and originally choreographed by Marius Petipa. With non-stop dancing and magnificent sets and costumes, The Nutcracker is an unforgettable tribute to the imagination.
