Advocacy Canada presents Queering the Interior Film Screening

Advocacy Canada presents
QUEERING THE INTERIOR FILM SCREENING

Spanning decades, Queering the Interior is a documentary film that explores how the discrimination and demands of one generation were transformed into the rights and responsibilities of those that followed.

“Our team at Watershed Productions was thrilled to bring these missing stories into the museum and out into the community,” says Director Amy Bohigian, “as we work to represent the full spectrum of who lives in our region and create social impact through personal stories.” Doors open at 2:30. Following the film a panel will discuss their participation in the documentary and issues around aging in the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

The event is hosted by Advocacy Canada, a Kelowna non-profit dedicated to supporting the age 50+ 2SLGBTQ+ community.
